Evolve Grounded Leader is an immersive personal-growth experience rooted in the practice and philosophy of yoga.

This program is for people who want to know themselves more deeply—to understand how they move through the world, how they respond to challenge, what they value, and how they want to lead their lives.

Through yoga, meditation, self-inquiry, philosophy, breath work, movement, conversation and community, we explore yoga beyond the poses and begin bringing the practice into everyday life.

You’ll deepen your physical practice and explore yoga’s eight-limbed path, the energetic body, the chakras, meditation, breath and mindful movement—but the heart of Evolve is you.

Your patterns.
Your voice.
Your relationships.
Your edges.
Your joy.
Your ability to stay grounded while continuing to grow.

You do not have to want to become a yoga teacher to be part of Evolve. Some people enter wanting to teach. Some come simply wanting a deeper relationship with yoga and themselves. Both belong here.

You are already leading in your life.
Evolve is an opportunity to become more intentional about how.

What Evolve is rooted in

Integrity — learning to live in greater alignment with what you believe, what you say and how you move through the world.

Joy — not as something we earn when everything is perfect, but as something we learn to notice, create and make room for along the way.

Connection — being seen, heard and supported while doing meaningful work alongside other people.

Practice — because transformation rarely happens in one giant moment. It happens through the small things we return to again and again.

Erin’s Evolve Grounded Leader Review

I came into the Grounded Leader program as a new yogi. I was drawn to the idea of spending dedicated time doing something new - learning more about yoga, teaching, and practicing embodied leadership. What I discovered was a different kind of leadership; a way of being that isn’t taught in a book or seminar, but is rooted in empathy, presence, pause, connection, and awareness of self. In Grounded Leader, I learned to use my breath and voice intentionally, to pause rather than fill silence or speak too quickly, and to hold space for others without needing to fix or direct. I learned that focusing on myself isn’t separate from supporting others, it’s what allows me to show up more grounded, present, and connected.

The training challenged me in unexpected ways: breathing through discomfort, feeling awkward and nervous while doing something completely new, and choosing to do it anyway. I stuck with it and taught my first class as the capstone of the training. The experience pushed me to trust myself, find my voice, and step into leadership in a completely new way.

My wonderful experience with Grounded Leader can’t be separated from Steph. She gives the program and every student her full attention and care. This work requires a leader like Steph, who approaches the opportunity with vision, seriousness and high standards, while delivering it with humor, warmth, and encouragement.

I highly recommend Grounded Leader to anyone looking to grow and explore leadership and yoga in a new way - one that will stretch your mind, body, and heart.

Emily’s’s Evolve Grounded Leader Review

When I first signed up for the Evolve Grounded Leader program, I thought it was going to be just another teacher training program. I went in expecting to deepen my understanding of yoga and learn new skills around sequencing and cueing to help me be a better instructor. But what I actually received was so much deeper than that.

The Evolve Grounded Leader program provided a place to create intentional space to connect with myself. The program allowed me to celebrate how far I’ve come, while challenging myself to push past complacency and continue growing—all alongside a community of people doing the same hard work. While I did learn a lot about yoga and even taught my first-ever flow class by the end, my biggest takeaways were the deeper interpersonal lessons that continue to impact my life outside the studio. It doesn’t matter if you are a seasoned yogi or a complete beginner; this program holds space for everyone to deepen their leadership skills.

The Evolve Grounded Leader program was one of the hardest and most fulfilling things I have done for myself in my adult life. If you are looking for something to challenge you to go deeper and grow in your understanding of yourself, this is the place to do it.

Katy’s Begin Again Teacher Training Review

Evolution Flow Teacher Training came into my life during a period of transition and reflection. I wanted to give undivided time to my practice and learn how I might take  it to the "next step". As it turns out, my training was called "Begin Again", and my experience did not catapult me into some imagined future; instead, it brought me back to the beginning.

Though I am a long-time practitioner of yoga, I had never asked myself why I practiced yoga. Teacher Training gave me the time, space, and safety to consider my life with intentionality. As it turns out, I practice yoga to know myself and to be able to move with clarity and purpose in this complex, beautiful world.

I never planned to be a yoga teacher. But I know the gifts that yoga has brought me, and I love appreciating yoga with others. I have practiced yoga for a long time, with a different why for each period of my life, and I believe that all the various reasons for being on the mat are wonderful and good. Teaching yoga has taught me so much about holding space for all our unique journeys, including and perhaps most fundamentally, my own.

Over the past year I have witnessed myself surrender control more easily, soften more readily to new experiences, and live with fewer expectations, in turn opening my life to the joie de vivre that was always there, waiting to be set free.

Catherine’s Begin Again Teacher Training Review

I did not have any expectations for teacher training going in as I feel that when I do have expectations, I don’t experience everything to the fullest. That being said, this training was very meaningful and authentic to me. I feel more confident and capable to teach.

I am taking with me a new sense of confidence to teach, sequence, speak truths and get up in front of a room. I am taking with me some deep and meaningful experiences with a group of awesome humans that remind me I am not alone. New friendships. I am taking with me less guilt and shame over taking rest and I am reminded of how important it is to rest to recenter, create space and recover. I believe I have a bigger toolbox for my life and a deeper understanding of myself.

Working with you, Steph, is like a breath of fresh air. I love your directness and authenticity. I love how in the present moment you are. I love that you held space for everyone and made everyone feel seen and valued and facilitated ALL of us doing that for everyone else in the group. I love that you facilitated/invited us to participate in our own personal growth. I loved that you set us up for success teaching us the same yoga sequence in small pieces… so frickin’ cool. There’s more… but that’s a good summary for the badass warrior woman you are.

Who would I recommend take this teacher training? Everyone… especially the people who have even the smallest inkling of interest, those that think they don’t need it and/or those who don’t want to take it (my ex) . I believe teacher training should be like a right of passage for all of us in each stage of our life. Everyone should take one at least once and especially when you think your life is falling apart. It’s by far, the BEST thing I’ve ever done for myself and has made my relationships so much better. I am so grateful.

Dawn’s Begin Again Teacher Training Review

I signed up for YTT because I was ready to invest in myself and was looking for a program that I could fully immerse myself in - to deepen my yoga practice, grow physically stronger, and heal my heart after the loss of both parents.

I chose Steph Marie’s training because I was confident that she would apply the methods I’d grown to love in her yoga classes to the training program as well: space to feel inspired, challenged, and connected.

I walked into the training with few expectations and complete trust in the experience that lay ahead. Through training, I gained strength and confidence in my body’s capacity to hold, stretch, and move. I connected with a community of amazing people who created space for me to feel, grow, and heal and I discovered a deeper passion for holding space for others, which has inspired me to share yoga as a new teacher.

Steph Marie invested all of herself into a program that invited us to challenge our thoughts and expectations of ourselves; to reach beyond our perceived limitations, get curious in discomfort, and savor each moment along the way.

I am deeply grateful for this entire journey and the opportunities that Steph Marie, this program, and this community created for me to transform into the best version of myself right now.

Franklin’s Evolve Review

I've known Steph for many years, and she asked me to do teacher training many a time before I finally said yes. I think I kept saying no for a few reasons. I was worried about how much of my time it would take. The cost was a consideration too, but for most things like this I'm able to see it as an investment in myself, so that wasn't a big one. Honestly, I think the bigger thing was that I wasn't sure I was ready. I had this fear of what I might learn about myself, and what slowing down and being that intentional with my time might expose.

Going in, I didn't really know what to expect. I kind of thought it was going to be very structured. Get the hours in, learn the names of all the poses, learn how to build a flow and a playlist, and get a certification at the end. And we did learn those things. But looking back, that was almost the smallest part of what we learned. Everything else we learned is what supported the music, the flows, and the dharma talks. It's like learning words before you learn how to form a sentence.

There was one evening where Steph surprised us with this ecstatic dance type of movement. She just put on music and we moved our bodies, everyone in their own way, however felt good for them. I really enjoy that kind of stuff. I can be very much a headspace kind of person, and that kind of expressive movement really helps me get out of my head and notice more of what I'm feeling and what I need. I also really enjoyed reading The Yamas & Niyamas alongside the training. It was kind of like a little book club, and talking about it in class helped me process how it applies to my life. And then just being with other humans over multiple weekends, people I didn't have a prior relationship with, and getting to hear their stories. It reminded me that it's possible to have a real, strong connection with somebody without years of history.

The training showed me I can teach a yoga class. And even with all the stories I've told myself since then, and the self-judgment, all of it has been a reminder of my need for self-compassion and self-empathy. Observing what's happening, identifying what I'm feeling and what I need, those things aren't new to me. But the training helped bring me back into that practice. It's like practicing the practice. That has meant better relationships with people I love and a stronger sense of self. I'm more willing to say what I need, knowing I may not always get it, and sometimes saying it is enough. And a huge, wonderful bonus is that, guess what, sometimes those needs do get met. There's such a freedom in that. I feel like a less reactive person.

It's also helped me focus on how I can cause less violence in the world, and less violence toward myself. The practice of nonviolence feels a lot like love to me. There have been many times in my life when love was conditional, for myself or for other people, and this kind of work helps flip that on its head.

I have a lifetime of work ahead of me (and I say that with a smile). But practices like this remind me of who I am and all the tools I have to keep stepping into who I am. Sometimes the world pulls me away from that, and this reminds me I can come back to it over and over again.

Jana’s Evolve Review

I originally joined the Grounded Leader Program at Evolution Flow simply to take some dedicated time for myself. Although I had practiced yoga for years, my knowledge ended with the physical postures, and I was eager to dive deeper. I never anticipated the profound personal journey ahead.

Through the study of the eight limbs of yoga, Steph created a training that offered a rare, intentional space to process my emotions, define my core values, and find my voice all while confronting limiting beliefs about myself, just to name a few. While the training was intense, being in a community of people who were also putting in the work, was rejuvenating.

I finished this leadership program with a clearer, more thorough understanding of myself. I am leading across every area of my life—family, friendships, and work—rooted in my values and true strength. I’m far from doing it perfectly, but I have found that this grounding in myself, leaves me eager and curious about the next chapter of growth.
